Garth Paine and I performed a quasi-improvisation at the Emerge event at Arizona State University, which was a large-scoped conference and concert event that speculated on the future through science fiction and academic wizardy.
Garth is using a Wacom tablet interfaced with the robust DSP engine of the Kyma software and hardware platform. I am using roto-tom spindles (probably the best part of the roto-tom) on a bass drum and several other metals.
